When I look at this post now, I see no image. When I look at https://www.stevecutts.com/, I see
Not Acceptable

An appropriate representation of the requested resource /index.html could not be found on this server.

The window is titled 406 Not Acceptable.

Obviously, this wasn't happening when I first made this post.

Do you see the image?

Here it's there! diaspora.psyco.fr

Hmm. Maybe it's because my Internet-facing IP address is a Tor exit node. Another site that's become Tor-unfriendly?

I use Tor for all sites on which I have an account.
David diaspora
No. That doesn't make sense. It wouldn't explain why I can't go to https://www.stevecutts.com/
David diaspora
Perhaps, although Tor is being used for diasp.eu, it's not being used for the image on the D* page. So https://www.stevecutts.com/ doesn't like Mullvad anymore.
David diaspora
Pretty soon Mullvad will move me to a different node. That may do the trick.
David diaspora
BTW. It did.
I also used Mullvad for a while, now I use Proton VPN, and I'm pretty happy with it ...

I've thought about moving to MX Linux, but Mullvad requires systemd.

Does ProtonVPN require systemd? How much would it cost to try ProtonVPN just to see if I like it? Do you use the free option? (I think they have one.) If you pay, how do you pay?
Yes, you can try it for free ... https://protonvpn.com/free-vpn/
There is an App for Linux, but there are other options too.

For more information, take a look at: https://protonvpn.com/support/linux-vpn-setup/
Salix is a good choice - easy to install, systemd -free, and it’s based upon Slackware, and uses the Slackware code-base. I’m using that when I am not using OpenBSD.
Mullvad requires systemd.

Oh. What the hell for?
