There is some more recent research that show that the plexiglas barriers were probably a bad idea from the start, as they just interfere with proper ventilation and can increase risk, not decrease it.
While I agree with @Adam Hunt. COVID was not spread by food, and it doesn't survive for very long on surfaces. Also because of danger of listeria, and salmonella washing should be the first step in preparing all produce. The meme proves it's conclusion.
